Opened in March 2021, the Buc-ee’s Daytona Beach is a “gas station on steroids”. A Texas chain of gas and convenience stores that first opened in 1982 is slowly expanding across the county. Its first 2 Florida locations are now open.
Here is our review!
Where is Buc-ee’s in Daytona Located?
Easily located right off the highway at exit 244 on I-95. At the intersection of I-95 and LPGA Boulevard at 2330 Gateway N Dr, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
Near the Tanger Outlets, this area is a fast-growing shopping center. With car dealerships located on the west side of I-95 and outlets and much more on the east side. Besides the outlet center, there are regular stores, fast food and sit-down restaurants, and Dave and Buster’s.
How Many Buc-ee’s are in Florida?
In 2022 there are 2 Buc-ee’s. One in Daytona Beach and the other in St. Augustine, also located off of I-95.
Gas at Buc-ee’s Daytona Beach

Wow, I have never seen anything like it! If you are ever frustrated waiting for a gas pump, then Buc-ee’s is the place for you! With 104 fuel pumps, I can not imagine there ever being a wait.
Buc-ee’s Gas Price Versus Sam’s Club
Sam’s club is right across the street. At first, I planned on stopping there as we have a membership. However, Buc-ee’s gas price was the same without a membership. Win!
When we visited this was 10-30 cents cheaper than other gas stations in the area. See current gas prices here.
Convenience Store and Grab and Go Food
If you can’t find the snack or drink you are looking for here, maybe it isn’t made. If you are short on time and looking to pop in and grab a quick snack, then it is easy here at Buc-ee’s. Tons of prepackaged snacks and also grab-and-go foods. I

Hot Foods
Buc-ee’s has a pretty extensive hot food menu. The brisket sandwiches looked delicious!

Merchandise
There is a lot of camping items in the store. I felt it was a combination of a Camping World, Racetrack, and Loves Truckstop. But also more as it had a great home decor item I almost purchased! My husband says the food is much much better though.

Restrooms at Buc-ee’s Daytona

“Word Famous”? Apparently, Buc-ee’s is known for having really clean restrooms for convenience and gas stations. If you are on a long road trip, we all know that is the first place you go on a stop! And in true Texas style, just like the gas pumps, there are a lot of restrooms! I can’t imagine waiting in this ladies’ room!

Buc-ee’s Daytona Review
With plenty of parking, gas pumps, workers, and even cash registers, Buc-ee’s Daytona Beach is worth a stop. The hardest part of making the turn into the parking lot! My family enjoyed:
- Cheap gas
- Lots of pumps, so no waiting.
- Clean restrooms
- Lots or restrooms, so again, no waiting (which is important on a roadtrip pit stop!)
- Large variety of snacks and drinks to purchase
- Hot foods. No more stopping for gas in one location and food in another on a long roadtrip!
